Scholarship

The Siri Fort Auditorium...it was a big day of my life...i was here to collect a prize that i won for a national level mental aptitude scholarship exam test...I ws in class ninth at tht time...stood second in India...scholarship of thousand bucks per month...n a Hero Shakti bike...a gr88 feeling it ws to b here.. :)

Quanta

QUANTA...the annual international festival at school level that is organised by the City Montessori School Lucknow...This is our school team (m the first from right ) that participated in this event and we stood second overall,thanks to brilliant performances by Peeyush,Saaransh,Rehan n Utkarsh,Karn,Devpriya....
Ahhh...did i say Peeyush?Hah..The prodigy...the celebrity from our city...a small kid juz peeping from behind :P

Rendezvous-2006

Rendezvous-2006 !! Our Cult Fest...During my stay in IIT this is the best rendezvous that i've seen...It had KK-concert-I cudnt hv asked for anything better...I mean m a big KK fan...I love all his songs ( except the humsafar ones :P ) ... n he rocked in the concert !! Kya Mujhe Pyaar Hai,a song from the movie Woh Lamhe became a ubiquotous song...n it became my all time favourite.In the first pic...m wid Siddharth(Ara),my roomy n a very dear friend..this ws taken during Rendezvous-06 period...n the next two pics r concert pics..
KK sang some of our favourite numbers-Tu hi meri shab hai,yaaron,ek pal ke liye..n ofcourse Kya Mujhe Pyaar hai...which ws quite a new song at tht time.

Birthday Parties

Talking about parties,here r two of the party pics....the top one ws a party at the Rhythm....not really a bday party..but it ws a n occasion to celebrate the placement of our seniors....n their success in CAT.The bottom one ws a party at The Moets..a fabulous restaurant..n this ws a b'day party.

First Birthday in college

The occasion is my first birthday in IIT...in the pic m wid Ravi...face ws smeared wid cake creams..got bumps n kicks..tradition u knw :P then the bday boy is supposed to take everyone to nescafe for a treat...n then sometime later...after few guyz hv had their bdays celebrated...we go for a big treat...all bday guyz contributing 4 tht...n thtz gr88 gr88 fun !!

Quizzing freak i was...n to some extent..i am...this is the big babol quiz certi...town finals...it used to b quite a popular quizzing show on television at tht time...Barry o Brien used to b the host...Pawan Kumar...a senior of mine was my team partner.

Ummm...Deepak is a close pal of mine...my best probably...we talk everything under the sun...he's a responsible kinda guy...at the same time,fun loving n simple...alwyz thr for ur help...gotta know him first in class eighth...when we used to sit together in class...n since then..we've alwys been sitting together during the rest of our school life...a very simple dude !!
Vivek..met him in class ninth...but then...it ws juz hi..hello kinda friendship...that went on till tenth...he became a great friend of mine from class eleventh onwards...we three...n a few other guyz used to sit in the back benches of our class rooms n chat chat n chat...tht went on..i've alwyz been a bit on the quieter side...but hv alwyz enjoyed the company of ma frenz...n itz gr88 listening to them...fun it is whn v r together !!! n m a perpetual back-bencher...sumtimes editing and correcting love letters of my frenz...sumtimes discussing sports...sumtimes studying..or sumtimes listening to grotesque tales of my buddies !! :)

I was a student of Boys' High School and college,Allahabad...till class eighth i studied in its annexe-Holy Trinity Church Campus...still miss those school days..I think most of us do....naughty i was in my childhood days,then became a studious kinda guy,but i loved participating in extra curricular activities...quizzing i loved,used to participate in elocutions and debates,athletics (ws a good triple jumper..reasonably good long jumper...n a pathetic high jumper :( )
Painting i loved,n won a lotsa prizes n certificates in that...

Random Access Memory !!

Ummm...It's pretty hard for me to organize myself into a systematic kinda person...n that'll be reflected in this blog....i mean i do things randomly,starting frm anywhere i feel like...not the orthodox way...very frickle minded i am...even when i used to prepare for JEE,i didn't follow any particular and systematic kinda approach-everything was haphazard...would start doing problems from whichever book i felt like,pick up questions from a randomly chosen chapter and would choose any question that caught my attention...same goes for games n sports..n that's the way i like it...so in this blog the posts won't follow any definite chronological order of my life...instead if m able to recall something interesting,I would straightaway share that snippet with you,my friends.And as far as hostel life is concerned...itz topsy-turvy to say the least :P Now does this go against the title of this blog?? ;)
